for LGBTQ+ rights and HIV/AIDS awareness.
The documentary aims to shed light on the often-overlooked narratives of transgender women of color and their vital contributions to LGBTQ+ culture, activism and society. It serves as both a celebration of Octavia St. Laurent’s life, wicket beauty and a poignant reminder of the ongoing struggles faced by the transgender community.
